  23. I didn't mean to imply that it didn't still work when talking to a modem via
  24. its com port designation. That's how I continue to do it. But, with Win95
  25. choosing to re-arrange my com ports, IRQs, etc. at its own whim, I was
  26. looking to the TAPI interface to allow me to hide that. I don't want either
  27. me or my scripts to have to know what com port my 3Com modem is assigned to
  28. today.

  30. BTW, I went through the steps in JA's message, and that worked just fine.
  31. Now, all I need to do is stick those lines into my macro definition(s) and
  32. re-read the documentation on the TAPI interface to figure out what I was
  33. doing wrong before.
